When we think about the war-torn country of Afghanistan, we never would have thought that our organization would be helping to renovate a masjid in a lonely village in the barren mountains. But that’s exactly what we did.
This village was one of the poorest and most isolated communities in Afghanistan. The people here had barely any resources and were constantly struggling to survive. But despite all their hardships, they were some of the kindest and most welcoming people we ever met.
Kator Foundation helped to renovate a lonely village masjid in Afghanistan. their masjid, which was in desperate need of repairs. It was a small act, but it meant so much to the villagers. They were finally able to worship in a safe and clean space.
We will never forget our time in this village.
