It is estimated that over 60% of the population in Afghanistan lives below the poverty line, making it one of the poorest countries in the world. In addition, the country has been in a state of war for nearly four decades, which has further contributed to the widespread poverty and suffering. As a result, many children in Afghanistan do not have proper access to education.
In poor villages across Afghanistan, children often have to work alongside their parents in order to help make ends meet. This means that they are often unable to attend school on a regular basis or receive a proper education. Even when schools are available, they are often underfunded and lack adequate resources. As a result, many children in Afghanistan are left behind and do not have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Despite the challenges, Kator Foundation is working to provide education opportunities for children in Afghanistan.
