It is heart-wrenching to see what war does to people. They lose everything and have to start over. We are so grateful that we were able to help these families in their time of need.
Many of the families we helped were Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Baghlan Province due to the on-going conflict in Afghanistan. Its heartbreaking to see the poverty and destruction that the war has caused. The IDPs were so appreciative of our help and it made us feel good to know that we made a difference in their lives. We will never forget the look of gratitude on their faces.
We visited them and were able to provide 600 families with food, clothes, and other necessities.
Kator Foundation hopes that one day the conflict in Afghanistan will end and families can live in peace.
