Our organization works to improve living conditions in war-torn and poverty-ridden areas. Recently, we installed a solar power system to a masjid in Afghanistan and helped renovate the building. This will provide electricity and clean water to the community. It took some planning and coordination, but it was all worth it when we saw the final product. The look on the faces of the people who use the masjid every day is something that we’ll never forget.
The war and poverty in Afghanistan is something that’s always on our minds, but seeing the difference we’ve made in this community gives us hope.
We’re so grateful to have been able to help out in such a meaningful way. It’s projects like this that remind us why we do what we do.
