In response to the persistent drought in Afghanistan, the Kator Foundation has successfully completed the digging of two deepwater wells. These wells, located in two crucial districts, now connect 2 villages, providing a reliable source of clean water for thousands of residents even during dry periods.
These wells are more than just water sources. They are a beacon of hope and resilience, designed to withstand the harsh drought conditions in Afghanistan. They improve hygiene, health, and agricultural productivity, and ease the burden of fetching water from distant sources.
Through your generous support, local community collaboration, and expertise in rural infrastructure, we’ve made this project a reality.
While our work might not always make headlines, it leaves a profound impact on these communities. We hope these wells stand as a testament to what can be achieved through dedication and collaboration in the face of challenges like the drought in Afghanistan.
